The frequent flyers of our backyard Wood Ducks

We have been having many visitors on the thin strip of land just outside the fence of our backyard.  We are on the edge of the Spicket River in Salem New Hampshire.  There have been raccoon, woodchuck, opossum, muskrat, and rabbits but our most frequent visitors as of late are a group of Wood Ducks.  They are the most colorful of the duck family and less common in New England than the Mallards which are the most common in this area of the country. This is a time-lapse video of the past few days.

Thanks for viewing!
